Writtle Wanderers RUFC |
Many of you will be familiar with Jonathan, who has been around Chelmsford for many years and played one game of rugby for the Anglia Academicals at a 7s Tournament in which he broke his leg! He now regularly attends our games to provide his services, including pre-match strapping and on-pitch treatment of injuries and any post-match treatment needed.
He would be very happy to see any member of Writtle Wanderers requiring physiotherapy treatment at his private clinic in Great Waltham. Members of the club will be able to receive Jonathan's services at a discount.
To arrange an appointment or if you just
have a question you'd like to run by him, you can contact Jonathan at
physio @ wwrufc.org or on his mobile, 07966 231878.
Below is some further information about Jonathan's training and experience:
"Jonathan graduated from Hertfordshire
University in 2006 with an honours degree in physiotherapy. Since
graduating Jonathan completed his junior rotations at Broomfield Hospital in
Chelmsford, before advancing to a senior musculoskeletal role for Suffolk
Primary Care Trust.
As well as working for the NHS, Jonathan operates as an academy
physiotherapist for Ipswich Town FC, as physiotherapist to the British
Amateur Swimming Association and also privately for himself at his clinic at
Great Waltham in Chelmsford.
Jonathan’s background is mainly sport based, having played semi-professional
football in Suffolk and Essex. His interest lies heavily in musculoskeletal
disorders and in particular sports injuries and rehabilitation."
