Its the big one. Celebrating 10 years of Writtle. It has been decided that we will be partying up in Venlo (Its on the Dutch/German border for those of you who are wondering)
- We depart Friday 4 May by Coach for Venlo with a relaxing evening planned.
- We play Venlo Wallabys in an exhibition match on 5 May 2012 - see their website at http://www.wallabys.nl/
- We depart Venlo at lunchtime on Sunday 6 May, to be back in Chelmsford by early evening.
We have decided on a three day/two night tour this year to accommodate as many players as possible. This is our 10th Anniversary tour so we need to push it and make it a good one. Also - for the older boys there is no longer any excuse that 3 nights is too long away from home!
We will be operating a lottery this year. The cost of tour is £250 all in which includes travel, accomodation, insurance and tour memorabilia. We will also draw a name from the hat on the departing journey and that tourist will be refunded the full cost of their tour - yes £250!!! But you have to have paid in full to be eligible.
David Milburn and Jeremy will be accepting deposits as of now. You can also make payment direct to the Tour Account via Gary Hall. Dom, George and I will get our heads together on travel and accomodation issues.
Something to look forward to anyway chaps, just start getting your money together for a golden time you'll never forget!
